Starting DAS after 10 years, asking for Windows XP password
I haven't used my clone Star in probably 10 years and I have DAS on an external drive VM. The password for DAS works fine, but then a screen asks for a Windows XP password. I don't have that or remember having to enter one. Any idea what I can do?

Right.. let me dust of some of my memory..
I'm not sure how technical you are but the summary is: The usernames and passwords are stored in an encrypted file on the computer, the file is called a "SAM" file. You can access it by booting up the computer from a CD and inspecting the file. There are tools built especially for this.

I can't remember the tool I used. because you are using a VM, you can just download the ISO and mount it in the VM..
