ATF Dip Stick - C280, V6
This makes it impossible to get an accurate ATF measurement.
Can someone tell me what is the right part number or just as good the length of the dip stick from the end to the cap portion that sits on the top of the ATF tube when you take a measurement.
Thanks for any help.

Hello, I thought I had the right part number when I ordered an ATF dip stick, but the one I got is too long by about 12 inches or so.
This makes it impossible to get an accurate ATF measurement.
Can someone tell me what is the right part number or just as good the length of the dip stick from the end to the cap portion that sits on the top of the ATF tube when you take a measurement.
Thanks for any help.

When I do this now the reading is over the top of the full mark with the motor at 25 degrees C where the marks on the dip stick are near the bottom. So I must have too much fluid in the AT Tranny, correct.
And the hot reading is done when the car is on and in Park?
Please let me know if the above is correct.
Thanks,
Jeff
