Question 2006 E320 CDI: EGR? Easy or hard fix? Pictures
Big blob of black oily carbon at the rear of the valve cover, just under the plastic cover.

Does this send me to the dealer for a trade, or is this a reasonable fix?

Now 210K miles on this car.
