Bobterry - I've read your other posts where you stated you would "copy" the system you have from your hard drive and then send that information to someone else. First, I'm certain this "copying" violates the copyrights of the software you purportedly have. Second, if there are any glitches (there are many in the chinese software as discussed above) or upgrades to the system, all bets are off as the system WILL crash as has happened to so many other forum members. Third, there is ZERO support for the copyright infringed software you're preparing to "give" to forum members. Members beware and read the above posts from experienced members, including myself, who have been burned by the cheap, non upgradeable, non supported software.

Got a question about Xentry/DAS diagnostics, PM me or get in touch with Pmercury.

Regards,
Arturo

You ought to be certain, because on that thread I myself stated there were copyright considerations. But your point is moot, because as I noted on the thread I suspended the offer. Presently, I have no plans to remake it.

How could you possibly know? Answer this: what software am I running on my PC? And explain why since 2008 it has never crashed on me.

Know this, newbie Arturo: hundreds of owners are using Chinese Star Diagnosis and they have no complaints. Zero. Read this thread. I've been around the forums since 2004 and know of no incidence of software "crashing", so DO explain how you came by this silly notion. I'll also add that I know of a Mercedes repair specialist in the Atlanta area that uses Chinese Star Diagnosis, and perhaps you missed my mention that Renntech also uses Chinese -- or at least they used to.

Reading your post you use the oldest, very first version of DAS from 2008 with VMware on an old crappy laptop
Your version has no offline programming, no online programming and lots of missing features.
You can keep using your "Fake news" method but the bottom line is that what you use is very limited.
It doesn't crash because every time you shut it down it resets. That is how VMware works.
Your recommendations are all suppositions as you never used any of it apart from your old 2008 VMware.
Pmercury helped me any many others, he told me 50% of his friends he helped to install and supports had those Chinese and old systems.
Now only reading the reviews shows the difference is day and night.

You can go on spreading your misinformation and that hate behind but Nobody believes your lie-posts

Wrong. I have three versions of Star Diagnosis. NONE of them run under VMWare. If you remember the thread from which pmercury was banned I mentioned that I have no experience with VMWare.

The misinformation is entirely from you. How else can you sell a system for $800 when everyone is achieving their needs on a budget of $300? Again, just check this thread documenting dozens of successes.

You make accusations, I ask tor a single example, and it could be easy for you or one of your sycophants to supply one and prove your point, but no one can. That destroys your credibility and exposes your misrepresentations.

That comparison chart is complete rubbish, since it is based upon falsehoods which prevade each and every post you've made to this thread.

Pmercury's software is fine. His service is fine. But try as I might, I can not make a case for using him. There are simply too many better options.

One pmercury customer sucker considered his $800 well spent. He noted that time was money to him, and he didn't want to spend time getting a potentially difficult Chinese system working; i.e., one that is based upon VMWare. But for around $650 the Chinese sell a complete turn-key system which includes multiplexer, software, and a laptop. That is considerably less time and effort than dealing with pmercury.

So unless you implausibly are captivated by pmercury's "winning" personality, spend your money more wisely and choose another option.
bobterry99 - your post above clearly violates Mbworld terms of use here: "Forums Acceptable Use Policy You agree, through your use of the Discussion Forums, that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law."

You were warned yesterday and your offensive post(s) were removed from the forum. But you won't stop. If you've got a personal beef with a forum member, PM them and stop violating Mbworld rules. Besides violating the rules, you're ruining the forum experience. I've reported your inappropriate behavior to the moderators.

None of my posts including the one you quote violate forum rules, and contrary to your statement, none have been removed. That said, what is your opinion of post #17 vis-a-vis the forum rules?

Bobterry,
I agree with James above. You’re really messing up the forum experience with your antics. Though I just recently registered, I’ve been following this forum for a long time. You don’t like Pmercury. We get it. He’s not violating any rules. You are. Please stop this nonsense and daily bashing of Pmercury now!

Regards,
Arturo

Arturo, I will delete the content of any post that "bashes" pmercury by statements that can not be demonstrated as factual. So cite posts you find offensive.
