2008 E550 SEATBELT ISSUE. HELP!
Hello all,
I bought an E550 which had been on a minor collision in the past. The right rear seatbelt was fully retracted and the ignition squib had gone off. I bought a replacement from a junk yard, which is in good condition. However, it was very hard to install since the belt wouldn't extend easily, I had to hold it a certain angles to get it to extend. Now that it is installed, it is fully retracted agaim, and I can't get it to extend. The belt is installed at the right angle, which I thought would make it move properly.
This new belt came with a good ignition squib according to my iCarsoft.
Any ideas on how to get the seatbelt to unlock? Again, doesn't seem to be locked by the squib.
