question about stoplamp

hi! guys..

i've changed stoplight bulb.
however, still no good.
i keep getting exterior light failure on my dash.

should i change the socket?

a car that can't do the throttle reset.

the contact points alot of times become corroded, check to see that they are clean. then check to see if the contact points have not been pushed to far apart.

Need more info. What model and year? Which bulb exactly? Did you cycle the key after installing new bulb? You MUST cycle the key on some models. The control units shut off voltage to the bulbs if they don't see that the bulb is working! Take the key out, then turn the car back on to check. Some models like to melt the sockets or taillamp housings too.
