Sos emergency call
I pressed the sos button, didn't hear anything and it won't hang up . Go to work and my employer got a call from the state police wanting to know if I was all right. Checked my car 6 hrs later and the sos emergency call is still active and I can't use my radio or phone ?
my car is a 2009 c300 luxury 4matic.

Has it solved itself yet? Try disconnecting the battery cables for a few hours, then reconnect and see if it has deactivated.

I did this on Friday. I didn't do anything when I got home, I figured it would turn off overnight. On Saturday morning the battery was dead. Put the battery on a slow charger overnight and everything was fine Sunday morning. I read in the owner's manual the only way to turn the call off would be the reciever of the call or to call Mercedes service center and they could turn it off. I don't know why the New York State Police wouldn't have ended the call? And I didn't all Mercedes because it had bene resolved by the time I read it. I will follow up on this . I should add I am the second owner of this car, purchased in November of 2019 with 10500 miles on it.
