are the any sources, online or dealers, that can determine cause and issues on a buy back (lemon)?

It’s possible that CarFax may have it.
I got a CarFax on a vehicle I wanted to sell today…much to my surprise it shows it was a “Manufacturer Buyback or Lemon report.”
it includes “Reason provided by Manufacturer” with several problems listed.

The CarFax provider said, “That’s means a 60% discount on its value.”

We didn’t deal.
