Hello... I got an message on the dash that the driver side tell light was out. I changed the bulb, however I quickly discovered it's not the bulb.

Here's what's happening: Each time the brake is pressed the light comes on for a millisecond, but does not stay on. I don't want to just start replying parts. Therefore, any help of what would cause this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
