Which mercedes engines have forged internals?
Hey guys, I'm planning on building w201 Evo 2 replica and I'm looking for an engine swap options.
Considering there is almost no after market support I would like an engine that has forged internals out of factory. The closest engine I found that fits my criteria is E55 amg but than I saw that it is an open deck engine with very thin liners so I'm gonna look for something else first.
Do you guys know any more merc engines with following.
i4 i6 v6 or v8
Aluminum block is a must
Forged internals is a must
Closed deck block.
Car is gonna be a dragster. Would love your help.
