W124 Estate Rear Side Window Rust
Hi MB World,
I have rust beneath the side window on my TE.
I have tried to use earlier posts and links to appraise if its a job for me or the garage/bodyshop, but the links seem to have expired as I'm ver politely asked to 'U' turn
.
Please could a kindly sole help arm me with sufficient tech data, for me to decide best way to tackle this blight?
Many thanks in advance and if helpful, mine's rusting on the OSR or fuel filler neck side.

Hi Chassis,
Whilst I appreciate your reply, I was hoping to gain access to previous posts and any tech data relevant to this.
The photos available at present would only show some deterioration to the base of the frame to the rear post.
If I begin the stripping, I’m into it and won’t turn back.
Im an ex vehicle technician and employed by a welding machine manufacturer, so believe capability available but would like
to appraise what could be involved and and areas of risk, before stripping.
But I do appreciate your reply.
