Ignition switch with 8-pin plug
I hope someone can tell me how to connect the 8 different wires to the plug on the back side of the ignition switch of my W124, 200E, 1990. I have looked for an answer on most forums, but all of them are about 7-pin plugs.
I have those ordinary 7 pins also, which I connected to wires with the colours as described in other forums and shown here.
P30 - green-white
15R - red-green
50 - two purple
30 - red
15X - red-yellow
30 - red
15 - red-black
The eigth mysterious pin: 15T I connected to the remaining wire. (I think it was blue-pink.) But it looks like I now have a short circuit somewhere.
Should I have connected the wires differently to this 8-pin plug?
The reason for why I ended up with this problem is that the ignition key was stucked and prevented the plug from beeing removed, so I had to pull up the wires separately.

I see the eight socket ignition starter switch connector S2\1x1,but regrettably cant find the applicable wiring diagram for the connector. FYI rather surprised that someone removed the wires from the connector.

Had I only known that there are no wiring diagrams, I would have used a mirror to check and write down the different positions of the wires. This is very annoying, and in worst case I might have to throw away a beautiful car.
