accessing washer fluid nozzle/hose in hood

I have a 2002 C230 Coupe, and the washer nozzle that sprays the windshield sprays only into the grating on the hood right before the nozzle. I'd like to check to see if the hose is broken or disconnected. The passenger side one still works fine.

I can't seem to get access to it. I've found three screws under the hood, but it still does not come out. What am I missing here?
any help would be appreciated.

hi, may i suggest you use a needle or pin and that may free out the tiny hole in the sprayer.if water is not leaking under the bonnet the hose is probably not disconnected
good luck

Thanks for the suggestion, but it is leaking, and not making it to the nozzles.
