Hello friends, I was looking for some input on why my c300 will not start. Backstory I was at my parents house and left the car sitting for a total of two days. As I attempt to start the car after the two days it didn't seem to start or even make an attempt at starting. Thinking it was low on battery I attempted to jump start the vehicle which didn't seem to work. I noticed a red S on my dashboard (above the P symbol) which wasn't appearing before. I thought this means the vehicle is in sports mode but the c symbol seems to show as well? I will attach a picture of my dashboard with all of warning indicators if someone can please share his or her input regarding this issue it will be much appreciated . If anyone needs more information please feel free to ask and thank you!!! Notice the red S symbol above the parking symbol
I would call your local auto parts stores in the area and see if they would let you borrow a scan tool, otherwise I would try and buy a scan tool and scan the car and see what codes you get. Another idea is to maybe disconnect the battery for an hour, reconnect and try and start and see what happens, best wishes to you brother
