MB keeping pre-paid service $$ without doing service??

Hey all,

Coming off a string of unbelievably bad service issues with my 2018 e-wagon (emergency braking issues they refuse to fix, etc), I had yet another crazy experience yesterday and I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with this.

We prepaid maintenance when we took delivery of the car.

Yesterday my wife went in to have the B service done, and they told her our prepaid plan had "expired" and were 2 weeks past the deadline.

In other words, that they were going to keep the money we paid for the service, and not do the service. They told us we had to pay out of pocket.

This seems absurd in general - especially crazy given the covid situation (car not even being driven, not being in a rush to interact with people, etc)

Has anyone dealt with this? How can it even be legal for them to collect money for a service and then not provide it??

Very easy to solve situation

Every dealership has his own way of handling their client relationship

Depends on the dealership owner

Just call 00800 97777777 and explain your problem here
this is the Customer Assistance Center Maastricht Netherlands
or here
https://www.daimler.com/contact/

they will kick your dealer's *** and you'll get what you want most of the time

Last time I did this it worked fine
