i bought this scanner iCarsoft CR Pro Multi-Systems Diagnostic Scan Tool for Multi-Brand Vehicles for my Mercedes. Was it a good purchase or should I return for another scanner? I am trying to find transmission codes.

None of the pimped brands will find your issue. You need XDOS or DAS Xentry depending on model year, and dont ask get off the couch and research

I have an i980 and think it is great. Not dealer level kit, but cheap and reads Mercedes specific codes.

You would think my more expensive model would access those same modules.
