2002 ML 320
![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
What is the procedure for removing the interior door panels from a 2002 ML 320?
I have some annoying rattles somewhere in the door panel, and even though I could get the dealer to try and fix them, I am worried they would do more damage then good.
I looked at the panel mounting and can't tell for sure where I need to start to remove the panel. I obviously dont want to break anything in the process.
Thanks,
Dirk

First, pop the triangular cover off, the one in the area of the mirror. Then, take the cover off on the side airbag, the one that says "SRS Airbag". There is a screw underneath it. Remove the leather piece on the door pull handle by prying out the bottom and working your way up. There are two screws under that piece. After you've done that, just pop the door panel off by starting along the bottom edge of the door and working your way up. You'll need to unplug the interior light and unhook the door handle rod once you get the door panel loose.
