Lightbulb Protecting our Mercedes' Undercarriages from Salt on Wintry Roads

Now that we've entered the phase of Northern Hemisphere winter when snow may be falling, many places have (or will soon be) starting to salt the streets. Please share your best tips and advice to protect our cars from salt related corrosion!

Keep the car in a nice dry garage until next spring. don't bring it back out until all the crap on the roads have been washed down with the spring rains.
