Auto-Start Dashcam in US 2021 Models
Anyone know if there's a setting to start the built in MB dashcam automatically? I see two options on my GLC – start recording or loop recording. If you turn the car off it says "cancelled recording" and you have to manually activate it again upon restarting the car.
If this is all that's possible the dashcam feature ($100) is totally useless.

I have the same question on the 2021 GLS450 with the Dashcam option. I see the same options, not the auto start that seems to exist in the manual. Am I missing something? Or is this yet another "US restriction"?
