Power Steering rack
Ok so I found out that I have to replace my steering rack (97 E420) but all I would like to know is does it matter what kind've rack I get?
I can go OEM which will be like 2200, remanufactured OEM for 1500 or aftermarket for 1000.
Are they all the same? I don't want to get the aftermarket one if its gonna give me problems so do the techs here have any input? I would really appeciate it!
Also, what kind've power steering fluid does my E420 use?

It's funny I was just on the phone with a MB dealership asking about transmission fluid and I had this thread opened and decided to toss your question out and he said the same thing brownmal1 said!
