w211 cluster wrong engine code

Hi all,
I have a pre-facelift w211 and swapped the cluster for a newer one in order to get AMG menu. I had virginized the cluster and did the teach in process. It works just fine. But after I did an oil change yesterday I realized that somehow the cluster thinks I have an OM611 engine, but I have an OM648. So the oil level indicator is off (I put in 7.5 Liter and cluster shows 6.3). I think its acuatlly off by about 1 Liter due to wrong engine code. I have looked all over Xentry/DAS, but haven´t found anything in the variant codings. I don´t even remember getting asked about engine code during teach in.
Any ideas how to solve this? Where do I need to look for? Probably in Assyst somehwere? Or is there an EEProm that holds the engine code which I can modify?
