W220 TCM interchangeable part numbers
I have a 2000 S500 RWD with a TCM P/N 0265457732 that needs to be replaced...corrosion everywhere.
Can I replace it with a different TCM part number from another W220?
I can find P/N 0275451132 and 0325451232 locally.
Does anyone know if I can use one of these?

Search by VIN to confirm your car version (e.g. 220.070, 220.075, etc). Then go back to entry page and select: Car, S, 220, electrical equipment and instruments, apparatus case and control units.
Search by part number to find other vehicles with that item brings up:

Selecting the S500 link in the part number search takes one to the S430 page since it uses the same part. Select the link to give you an idea. Go to item 190 way down the page on the right and read the "ident numbers" note:

The 0275451132 might work; the EPC shows it installed in a particular range of VINs but your part number shows a different range of VINs. If your car is a 220.075 I would chance it myself but the decision is yours. Searching by part number brings up the following applications:
220.070 => S 430
220.073 => S 55 AMG
220.075 => S 500
220.173 => S 55 AMG
220.175 => S 500
The 0325451232 won't work in my opinion. Searching by part number shows it was used primarily in the W203 and associated with the four-cylinder engines.
