Help changing the serp belt on the CLK55

How do you take tension off the belt to get the belt off of the pulleys?
I loosened the 15mm bolt on the tensioner, but it did not relieve the tension.
Thanks for your help!

Usually, today's cars have a tensioner that slides on a bracket or pivots. After loosening the nut, try to slide the tensioner in with an object besides your hand. All you need is a little loosening to get the belt off the pulley. I am not sure if this is exactly how the CLK55 is, but I know other Mercedes and BMWs are this way. Also, make sure you write down where the belt goes around each pulley as it helps tremendously when putting the new belt back on. Hope this helps.

The MONO Belt Tensioner is Springloaded..Use a Long Ratchet with the Socket to hold and Release the tension.. slide the belt off and replace the belt ..thats it!
