S205 C350e Wagon
Question C350e drivetrain question

Hello all! I am currently a proud owner of a c350e wagon '17 for about 2 months, however I have got a question about the drivetrain.

To me it seems like currently the car has three modes:
- Electric Drive
- Petrol Drive
- Boost (Electric and Petrol at high throttle)

It doesn't seem like the car uses the electric and petrol motor together to accelerate in slow pace from low speed, is this true? This would be a tad annoying, since my car uses like 20+L/100km when accelerating with a very light foot (based on real time fuel usage monitor).

If there was an assist from the electric motor instead of turning it off completely - like most hybrids do - at 10+ MPH (happens when battery is low), that would help consumption a lot.

Am I doing something wrong?
