Laptop diagnostic software info
Gents: I have seen videos on the use of diagnostic software into a laptop and using an OBD2 communication cable. Xentry is one of them. I wonder if anyone has used this kind of system and would like to know what other peripheral are used..!

never leave home without my current copy of XDOS---go to ebay or alibaba there are thousands of Chinese pimps selling the systems for under 500-700 USD

Pluto, what I want to know is if the software could be loaded in a typical laptop, then use the Communication cable to connect to the diagnostic port......or...if it needs to be loaded into an special unit???

you are correct-yes it can but remember you also need a mux between the car and laptop for XDOS to work
