Last ditch effort for help on brake/rotor change...help

Guys/Gals,

I still have not found much information on how to do the brakes on my '02 c230K. I know it is not that tough to do, but I need to know the little things before I get everything off and find out I need something else or installed wrong and destroyed something worth big money!

I have bought pagid pads
zimmerman/balo rotors
sensors/4
anti-squeal paste
brake grease

I would love someone to share some tips....hell, even outright directions to do this job! I don't want to screw this up.

Help appreciated,

Paul h.

Got the right tools? From all I've heard it is a pretty straightforward job. Also you may want to prevent the caliper from hanging by the hoses when you remove the rotors. Any chance you can take pictures as you do this? It would be helpful to all here.

My machcanic tells me that on most new car you dont have to grease the caliper. They have rubber piecise that if grease will dry out.

Clean the impacted dust out of the grooves in the caliper where the pad mounts using a wire brush. This seems to be critical with MB brakes and gave me problems at one point where I couldn't fit the caliper over the rotor with new, thick pads.
