Video In Motion for C300 Facelift W205 (2021 NTG 5+)
Been searching every where and unable to find a decent reliable answer. I currently have the c300 w205 facelift. I believe it has NTG5.5 but unable to check there version. I can watch movies while standing still via usb with pretty much all mp4 and mpgs. I would like to know how to enable VIM (Video in motion). There are many solutions with an OBD connector but unsure if they are safe.
On a personal note, i would not be driving while watching movies, it is for the passenger. We drive to Quebec a lot which is a 10 hour drive and wife would enjoy some movie as a passenger.
I am not willing to open the dash or console or void warranty, if there is a safe OBD way to do it ill be happy to go forward. Any recommendations?
Yes, you do have NTG 5.5
If you are skeptical about OBD modules, you could get a SmartBox or something I think those are what they are called. There is a sponsor on mbworld.org that sells those I don't remember who it was. It is basically like a mini computer that plugs in your vehicle which runs Android, it allows your passenger to watch YouTube, Netflix that way.
