2013 w212 Trunk Lift Support question
Hi All,
With my 2013 w212 convertible, when popping the trunk open by remote or by the button inside my car, the trunk does open, but barely. Like an inch or two. I’m just curious if there’s a problem with the trunk list supports, Or, is this normal with the car?
When I pop the trunk in my daughter’s 2012 C250 hers opens up to full open.
If it’s not normal I cannot find a part number on the 4 inch lift supports to order or purchase replacements.

My 2012 does the same thing. It looks like there are springs on the hinge points for the trunk. I think they wear out and don't perform as they should. Not a huge issue as long as it does unlock.
