You were kind enough to provide me with a service bulletin #for my 01 430 rough idle #PB 07.65/14 My dealer entered this number into the system today and said I may have the wrong number as it was not valid. Can you please verify this for me.
Thanks and as always I will exercise the utmost in discretion

there are no bulletins for that specific problem on your type of car.
Are there fault codes in memory? Does it dissappear for a while after having switched off the ignition?

I do not know anything about that ME update, but maybe it is specific for America or certain states due to emission laws.
Last time I had a car that began to vibrate at certain moments. No fault codes memorised, all measured values correct. It turned out to be the fan. The fan speed is regulated, that means to say it is not just on or off. At a certain speed (fan speed) it started to produce a kind of vibration as if it was coming from the engine that did not turn so well. With the Mercedes Star Diagnosis laptop the fan can be "controlled" (I want to say that you can let the fan running at a certain percentage that you choose, but I cannot find the English word for it. I am dutch-speaking). At that way you know it directly.
