Hi all,
Needed some insight on an upcoming job I'm doing. My CEL came on the other day, got it read after work even though it went away and got code P0346. Picking up the sensor today and we're going ahead and doing the spark plugs as well and replacing valve cover gasket.
However, I can't find a valve cover gasket nor can I find the recommended gasket maker anywhere. Any tips very much appreciated.

thats not true---call any MB dealer they have thousands

What engine do you have. M276/M278 do not have valve cover gaskets. They us sealant, which rarely fails. The front cylinder head cover, on the other hand, have sealant but will leak oil.

Hello thank you! I did end up calling Mercedes and you're absolutely right. I'm going to leave that sealed, just trying to do all preventative maintenance at current mileage and ones that seem to have been skipped. But I do have the M276. Thanks again for your reply
