412D ECU failed
I have a 1997 412D sprinter with a burned out ecu and I am trying to find a way to replace it. The part number is A 018 545 37 32. My question is, does it have to be that exact model or can I use a similar unit and have it reprogrammed to suit? I am having problems finding the exact unit as thay are becoming rare.

find the same ecu from ebay and get yours transferred on bench by specialized online shop
some have you directly send in yours, ecu repair or swap + coding = one price
there might be more compatible numbers in epc if you don't have epc just post your vin
