Hello folks,
I have a question that I hope someone can help with. I own a 84 500SEL euro that I have had since new. Over the last 20 years several indy shops have helped themselves to alter the vacuum system to anything but factory. I was hoping that someone could help me source literature in any form (paper or cd( that would address my series of car and that it would be for the euro applications.
I have several books by MBUSA for the 3.8/5.0 cars but it is all directed at US applications. There are quite a few differences that I need to clarify in my restoration project of my car. The main issues are the motor and drivetrain. Vacuum has been altered so much that it is almost impossible to put the car back to the way it was when it was produced.
I would be most thankful for any directions in locating workshop manuals/cd that are for early model 5.0 euro vehicles.
