On cold starts, my C320 fuel gauge shows 1/8 tank below actual. It takes 10 minutes driving before the gauge shows the correct level. Have replaced the aux fuel pump and fuel sending unit but problem persists. Anyone has similar problem and what could be the cause?

Well, my fuel gueage sending sensor has been changed twice. After the first change it worked OK for three months, then it started to behave strangely again. Now it's OK agian. Just don't know for how long....

Is it already a new type of fuel gauge? A new type of fuel gauge is made. When it is that type that is mounted it needs to be programmed in the SAM FOND (this is the German name , I do not know how it is called in English), which is located in the trunk. This type measures correctly.

Thanks Patrick. Do you mean a new fuel gauge in the instrument cluster, or the fuel sening unit? Since you are MB mechanic what is the parts number? My dealer has fixed twice but the problem still persists.
Thanks again for your help.
