Hi, need your expert advice, C class 2.0 CDI w203 2007, my car is fitted with 17 inch wheels with staggered tyres 225/45/17 and 225/40/17, I want to change them to 195/65/15 wheels and tyres more air between rim and road, 1st question would this alteration be better for economy ? Would it alter the Speedo ??
2nd question would W202 wheels fit, caliper clearance etc ?? Would my W203 17 inch fit my W202 ??
Any help would be brilliant, thanks in advance.

Go to TireRack.com and see what alternative sizes will fit you car. You can also check your Operator's Manual for Winter Tire sizes. I doubt, however, you can fit 15" wheels over your brake calipers. 16" may be the smallest you can go.
Since the C200 CDI wasn't offered here, I selected a C280 and the smallest offered are 16".

Did your tires come staggered from the factory? The 225/40-17 are wrong to begin with. The rears should be 245/40-17 and the fronts should be 225/45-17.
