93 400E issue

Hello, i have a 93 400E. As of late it has been emitting a low pitch rumble when i attempt to accelerate. It does not accelerate just rumbles enough to shake the entire car. I have a independent mechanic near me, but he doesn't have the equipment necessary to read the fault codes. Since it is OBDI will the dealership be able enough to read my codes without too much hassle. I would like to rectify this issue as soon as possible. If so, is there a rough estimate on time that it should take and i would also like a copy of the fault code readout if that would be possible. Please advise.
Thanks
Al

s600 and Escape
Check out Autozone, they will do free code checking and they can turn the CEL off for you. Also, if you don't bring up any codes, check the engine mounts...
