Question FSS Question for the Mercedes Tech

I don't like to cross post but couldn't get a working solution from other posts
in resetting my FSS. I've followed several documented procedures at least 12x
each and the FSS doesn't reset, just doesn't give the last beep but displays
a picture of an oil can and a clock/timer looking icon.

Car is a 2000 C280 Sport. I just did the oil change a month back and the FSS
is blinking a small and large wrench. I also did other minor service just to cover what is covered at the dealership.

Any help is appreciated.

Key to position 2, push reset twice, should show wrench and service mileage. Turn off key, push in and hold reset button, turn key to position 2 while holding the reset button still. It will reset in 15 seconds or so. You must do the procedure rapidly.
On, hit, hit, off
push in and hold, On...... reset

Rapidly - ok

Thanks. That's the only thing I haven't done (aside from pushing the O twice within a few seconds). Going to the garage and try it right now.

The 'rapidly' took care of it. It reset and showed 10000 in the display so, I'm
good. I really appreciate this info. I was doing the whole thing (overall) too slow.

Just don't be one of the idiots who buys instructions off ebay to do something that is clearly listed in the owners manual!
