r129 tranny "flare" (delay between shifts)
helllo,
I just started to get this, on my 92' 500sl (only 100k) the tranny have been rebuilt and I put a new valve body and a new module (the one on at the tranny), but somehow I'm getting this flaring when changing from 1-2-3. it is happens when comming off a red light, if you keep the gas pedal pressed all the gears get in at the correct rpm, but just right before gear change, you get a flare/slip and the revs go up, i usually take the foot of the gas and it works fine, the mechanic recommended changing the modulator (that's the reason it is new) but it still does the flaring, I would said that replacing it help 80% only, I also adjusted the trans cable with no sucess. have somebody encountered this before?
