I have a 2016 GLA 45 and a 2014 GLK. I have the WIS/virtual machine setup, but what is the best inexpensive way to get xentry working to diagnose and perform procedures on the car?
Specifically, I want to check the service history stored on the GLA and perform the transmission related functions related to a fluid change and the "learn in" to calibrate the shift forks and clutch movement.
Thanks

Get a cheap OpenPort 2.0 clone from eBay (~$60) and run Xentry OpenShell 2022 or 2023 in your VM. You’ll need to patch the multiplexer with a simple .bat file. Works fine for 2014-2016 cars. For transmission learn, just go to actuations after fluid change. The official SDconnect is overkill for your needs.Originally Posted by donm1000
