Scanner to code SAM’s
Hello,
I have DAS Xentry that worked fine 16 years ago when I used it last. It now say “no user code found”. I need to code a couple of SAM’s is there a reasonably priced scanner that does this type of coding or is there a way to get my old DAS system working?

I dunno much about DAS but you can buy all the software if you want that. It's probably going to treat you better for programming. Some scanners will do some small coding but for full coding those scanners usually are very expensive and most time require a subscription from autel or whatever scanner. You'll likely need DTS Monico or Vediamo to get what you want.
The launch Mercedes specific scanner is cheap and pretty good but it's limited in programming.

Your DAS is dead because the hard drive or license timed out. Not worth reviving.
Get a used Autel IM608 or Launch X431. Both can code SAMs on older Mercedes. Around $500-800 used.
Cheaper option is Vediamo or DTS Monaco on an old laptop but that’s a rabbit hole.
