r129 convertible issues

it seems my convertible hydraulics have developed a leak on both sides (fluid dripping from both rear wheel wells). a local shop recommended i change ALL the pistons at once (about 200 bucks each) even though only it seems only 2 are leaking. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I would change all only if the labor overlap is significant when compared with doing each one separately. Otherwise, replace only when needed.

They are talking from experience. I once changed two just to have two more brake a week later. The only ones that hardly ever leak are the ones in the trunk. I recommend changing all four under top assy and the two front latches (these are only about $100 each).
