420/300 hybrid
to make this short, i transferred my 83 300sd's engine into my 86 420sel... it has run well minus some electrical gremlins... the license, marker and driver courtesy lamp suddenly stopped working then the alternator and battery died after 9 months of happy usage.... could this be the ovp, an alternator amperage issue (65 vs 80), or a misque with the hybrid wiring harness? all opinions welcome
