I punched my engine at full throttle last night with my 03 SL55. It dropped to 1st gear and took off, but the check engine light came out right then. I ran it pretty hard to close to 7000 rpm when it dropped off. I stopped it, and it was shaking pretty bad, and my lights were flickering. I turned off the engine, turned it back on, and it rides like nothing happened with no flickering lights. No loss of power or change in performance.

I tighten the gas cap just in case, but to no avail. Any ideas?
