2002 CLK55 low miles / 100K warranty TV
I often visit this site and read all the helpful info and advice from fellow Benz owners. I am selling my 2002 CLK55 on ebay. Awesome car, all service records, 100K mile warranty, top of the line navi / tv / etc.

Im seriously interested in the car, however I haven't bothered contacting you or wasting your time yet because i currently have a car for sale and im waiting for it to sell. I thought i had it sold and the buyer backed out on me.
When i have cash in hand I will contact you.
The only thing bothering me with this car is the system you had put in. Its a preference thing but im not a big fan of systems and aftermarket installations, esepcially on a car like this.
However I do plan on coming to see the car sometime soon. I have the money to buy it i'd just perfer to sell my current ride first before getting into another.

thank you for the prompt reply.
I did some research before I had the system put in as i had similar concerns. I assure you that the upgrade is a huge improvement. It's very tastefully done with a matching birdeye maple frame. The Pioneer Avic Z1 system is a great navigation system and it also has a 30GB hard drive where you can store music, pictures, etc. It's also a dvd player. I also have the ipod tuner with this sytem, TV tuner, and bluetooth adapter. Frankly i have not even used the majority of the features that this thing has to offer, but as far as compatibility and integration is concerned, it's pretty flawless. I have the original radio and cd changer that came with the vehicle and you or the buyer can have that as well if that is their preference.
I think once you see the car, you will be pleasantly surprised at it's condition inside and out. I appreciate you contacting me and replying to my post. let me know if you will have time this week or next week to check out the ride. You will be extremely happy with it. Best of luck with the car sale.

Hello,
I'm not planning to sell the pioneer system on its own.
it's professionally installed into the vehicle.
comes with the car unless for some reason the new buyer would not want it, but i doubt they would not after they see it.

I will miss my CLK55 however, and the new owner got himself one hell of a car.
The house thing fell through.
So i'm thinikng of an SL55. I'm actually very close to pulling the trigger on a 2004 model with 50K miles on it.
I will post pics if i get it.
have you condisered or thought about any other car after your CLK55? Or should i bite my lip and not even suggest it?

CL65 - can be had with decent miles and outstanding prices (around $70K).
E55 Wagon - Power and utility!!
C63 - Power and 4 doors - nice!
CLK63 Black Series - I keep telling myself "NO!"
I have a 16 month-old and another one on the way (due January '09) and need a safe and practical baby hauler for everyday. I've got a '95 W320 Wagon that suits that need nicely. If he spits up or causes a mess, I shrug and clean it up - that God for MBtex. I couldn't say that if my CLK55 had to serve as the daily driver....
We've been looking at houses over the last year or two and have even put some offers in.....nothing stuck. Need to keep the no debt status and cashflow good until after we land a new pad. Then, get comfy with the expense of 2 kids before we seriously consider adding to the AMG fleet.
Till then, enjoy what I've got and keep it in great shape.
An SL55 would be freaking awesome!

Dont have a family yet myself but I know what would take precedence if I was in your shoes.
Luckilly you already have an awesome machine to enjoy.
the CLK55 was truly my favority car of all time. I just loved it's looks (had a CLK430 before the CLK55) and the AMG performance. I'm truly going to miss it and I actually have second thoughts. The guy already send in 1/2 payment though and seems like a nice chap from california, so I would not back out on him. Plus considering the current sellers market or none there of, I think I got a decent price.
the CLK63 Black Series is my dream car. I think I will wait 3 to 4 years and try to land one for around 50K. For right now i'm 90% sure that i will get the SL55. I'll post pics if I do.
No house, and no family yet so I can play around a little with some cars.
You have to see some of the deals that are out there right now. Bad economy, big gas prices, uncertainty, etc results in overstocked dealer lots and a great buyers market.
I know it's old, but I saw an absolutely mint condition 2002 CL55 with a 550HP Kleenman Kit, designo edition, beautiful wood, 30K miles for 30K with an extended warranty.
I'm close to stealing away the 2005 SL55 with 50K miles for 45K
