1996 E320 168K Fully Optioned But Rusty
I believe in truth in advertising so here goes. I'm helping my dad sell his 1996 E320. He bought it from a dealer in 2000 with 32K miles. It now has 168K. It's silver with a charcoal interior. It has most every option including Orthopedic heated seats, Xenon lamps, CD player, Traction control etc.He also bought brand new AMG 17" wheels and Toyo Proxes tires. He has had it maintained at the dealer since he has owned it. It had the spring perch repair done under warranty. Everything works and the car drives out very well. Now the bad...it's been driven every winter and has the typical rust that plagues some of these early 210's. It has rust in the following area's, the trunk lid around the trunk button (repaired by me to a decent appearance), the fender lips at all four corners (this rust is surface only and I have ground it down and treated it with "Rust Bullet, POR15) also bottom of the driver side headlamp has rust. I have ground down all the rust spots and treated them with the silver Rust Bullet sealant. It looks good from 20 feet but it's still rough around the edges.
AC and heat work as well as all options. He thinks it's worth $3000 but is open to offers. I'll post some pictures ASAP.
