FS: 1999 AMG C43 in MD
My 1999 Mercedes-Benz AMG C43 is officially for sale.

4.3L V8 - 300hp, 300lb/ft
5 speed auto
Black exterior (Factory AMG side skirts & bumpers)
Black leather interior with power seats
Sunroof
Bose premium factory stereo w/ 6 disk changer
Power brakes, steering, windows etc.
Auto dimming rear-view mirror with homelink
Power, auto dimming, heated side mirrors
Heated seats
Heated washer nozzles
Dual front airbags, side curtain airbags
ABS
Factory alarm
I am the third owner. The first owner was Frank Mancuso Jr (producer of Ronin and the Friday the 13th sequels, amongst other movies). The car lived in California until the second owner purchased it from Frank and moved it out to Virginia. It's been spared of salty roads, and as such there is no rust. I have a second (and third) car that I drive when it's particularly nasty out.
The car was serviced at Mercedes dealerships up until the time that I took ownership, and from then on it's been serviced at the wonderful Mercedes shop here in Kensington, Mitch Carr's. I highly recommend them in case you are looking for a shop for your Mercedes.
Oil changes were performed at 5k miles with full synthetic oils meeting the MBZ requirements (Castrol Syntec European Formula or Pentosin).
The transmission was replaced less than a year ago, and carries the remainder of a transferable three year warranty.
Air filters, tires, brakes, ball joints, differential fluid, flex disk and steering shock have been replaced. The serpentine tensioner and belt, along with the valve cover gaskets and oil filter housing gasket (normal sources of oil leaks) were all replaced within the last month.
Front lower control arm bushings (a common 30k mile replacement item, when stock) were replaced with polyurethane units to ensure longer life. These are the only non-stock items on the entire car.
The trunk is large for a car this size, and the rear seats fold down so that you can haul large items (60/40 split bench) if you so choose.
The exterior and interior are in excellent shape, and most people are surprised that this car is ten years old. It is quite fast, comfortable, attractive, and it has a wonderful factory stereo. It is also fairly rare, with approximately 1500 having been produced between 1998 and 2000.
The car is not perfect, however, and has the odd door ding here and there, and a couple of small chips in the hood from road debris. One of the exhaust resonators has a slight rattle, but is fully functional and does not leak. The rear differential bushings in the subframe could use replacement at some point.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions on the car if you are interested. I am asking $10,500.

Thanks, that's what I'm hoping for.
I just happened to pull up next to another black C43 today at lunch - which is very very rare. The girl driving the car had no idea why I was so excited to see it, probably thought I was some kind of nut.

Oh, I will.
He just came to pick up the car this evening, so it's gone for good.
I've been test driving replacements for the past two weeks, and found that the more cars I drove, the more I appreciated the C43. It was a great car, and I'll definitely miss it.
