Hey guys, just thought I would throw this out to you guys.
Hey you can search the forum I have hooked up quit a few members with E55s. My old college buddy works for MB Financial and has a 2005 E55 blk/blk coming of lease. It will sell next Wed. to MB dealers but he can pull it berfore the sale if someone wants it. You will have to call a MB dealer to get all the options. Here is the vin#WDBUF76J15A757708. It has no accidents, no paint work and non-smoker. He said he will ck into price but with those miles, probally @$29-32,000.

Dan, If you call your local dealer and ask for service the service writers can pull up the info via their MB computers. He is absolutly sure it has Navi, Cooled and heated seats, Keyless go and rear shade. He is not sure on parktronic, disctronic and power trunk. Oh, and it has the dark wood (black). Hope that helps.

P.S. If he pulls the car and it is not as described, ie. crapy condition, mech. problems or undisclosed damage, you do not have to pay for the car obviously. But if it is as described and you still do not take it he probally wont be doing this anymore. I think 4 members have bought these cars so far with no problems 3 E55s and 1 CLS55.

marcus, i am interested as well, but the main concern is the price, is he firm on the price? or he has no control over it? how does it work?

As with thw others that have bought cars direct form him you kind of just tell him what you will pay. He in turn will talk to his boss and then he will make the decision to pull the car or not. Obviously if you call and tell him you are looking to pay $25000 he is going to know a dealer will pay more wholsale then that. They have a set price they need due to lease fees, pmts., interest and so forth, so they are not going to loose money on a car like this. If it was a wrecked 90k car they would probally give it away because MB dealers dont want that kind of car. It is a good way for people to get a one owner off lease car at wholsale prices. Wholsale differs based on condition and miles obviously so dont compare it to a 50k car that is beat up. His boss is really fair that is how 4 others have purchased cars direct. All 4 were under 50k cars that were pretty mint. Karlson bought mine that I got from MB. PM him he is still on the board. He flew from MD to Oh to get it and was major impressed.

That's pretty reasonable if someone can get it for $32k. I watched the same car in Fint Grey with 18k miles at the auction in Atlanta last week do $37,250.....

MB Financial doesn't have a license to sell cars to the public, how is he able to do this? Not to mention, MBF and the dealers have an agreement to drive that business back into the dealership.

Hey, I'm new on here. Yep it is sold. Bought it other day. car came off a lease from Huntington Bank. There was more options than what came with the car. The original owner added the phone module with bluetooth and some other stuff. I will be picking up the car tonight from the dealership

No there is no warranty on the car. it was turned in on a 4year lease. the body condition was in excellent condition. original owner lived in columbus, ohio and was sold to a dealer and heath and that is where i purchased it. Car needed two new rear tires. Front rotors had to be replaced. Also no owners manual and only 1 key.

Yep, that was it. It ended up going to auction and was sold for $34,000 to Hinder Honda.
