Hi Experts

I always wanted to drive a German car, and admired the Mercedes Benz.

Someone in my neighborhood is selling their 2006 C280 with 20K
miles on it for $19200. They bought it in Nov 2005, so the warranty
is almost up (in 4 months). The car is in mint condition.

Is this a good deal ?
Should I get an extended warranty from the dealer or elsewhere ?

Any known mechanics near Boston area, who can inspect the car ?
Or should I take it to the dealership ?

Thanks

toooooooooo high.

I bought (in feb) a 2006 C350 (same body but with a 3.5 engine and sport) for 20K with almost 21K miles.

That's a good deal. 18600 out the door? Thats a good deal. I got it from dealer. CPO - warranty till november. I want to extend it for Full Bumper to Bumper as well I heard WarrantyDirect.com is pretty good.

Welcome to the MB forum. The guys at the w203 forum (chassis number of our cars) are very knowledgeable. Feel free to post questions in the w203 section.

How long till Service comes up?

The reason I was saying 19200 is too much is a good price for the 280 with low miles like yours should be max 20K. But with the situation we are all in right now you can bargain a little more. 18.6 is good.
