2004 E55 AMG
FS: 2004 E55
I have a silver 2004 E55 for sale. I am the third owner and hate to part with it, but I want to get back into a Mustang again for various reasons, mostly because they are super-cheap to mod and I miss the one I sold when I bought the E. I thought I'd put it here for a while before I list it elsewhere.
82,000 miles

Heated/Cooled Seats

No Parktronic
No Distronic
No Pano
No Keyless
Extremely well-maintained. In the last 3 months I have installed new EBC pads, motor mounts, transmission mount, tranny service, CM30 I/C pump, and new tires. It has all-seasons on the front, Blizzaks on the rear, and I have a set of new Hankook rear tires for the Summer that have never been mounted. Bone stock except for the E-63 replica wheels I bought to replace the factory ones that cracked.
Interior is mint(black seats with blue inserts) aside from two small dings in the metal shifter surround, and the exterior is in good shape with a couple of 1"-2" gouges on the front and rear bumpers from a previous owner. EDIT: There is also a 1"-2" crack in the front bumper cover just above the license plate. The Carfax is clean. Car is bone-stock aside from K&N filters that a PO installed, a 12" Blaupunkt sub that I have in there now(it is easily removed), and fairly light tint on the rear and all 4 windows(legal now in Illinois). I also degreased the exterior, went over the paint with a clay bar, and waxed it prior to Winter. It is cleaner now than it was when the pics were taken(well, aside from the slush and snow).
I am asking $22,000.
I have a bunch of pictures I can send out, and I will be happy to take close-up pictures of the exterior if anyone is seriously interested. I would prefer a local buyer who can come out and see the car in person and drive it. I don't like surprises, and I would never sell something without being confident that the buyer knew exactly what they were getting. Car is located in Aurora Illinois. It is my DD and has not let me down in 10 months and 20,000 miles of ownership.

I'm disappointed that the trade I had set up fell through, but now I'm more than convinced that I was going to screw myself(car had quite a few issues) and I'm better off selling the E and buying a modded Cobra outright.
Edit: My car is going in Monday, 2-22-10 to have a new OEM AMG MB bumper cover and active headlights(bumper cover movement cracked a mounting tab on both lights) installed at Certified Collision in Schaumburg(authorized BMW, Mercedes, etc. refinisher) due to contact at a stop light at less than 5mph. I will have detailed before and after pictures posted as soon as I get it back. Posting this so there are no surprises or anyone tries to claim the car was wrecked or involved in anything more than a minor bump.
