FS: 1996 Merc C220 VANCOUVER BC
Selling my beloved first car merc.
The good:
-Great condition 1996 merc c220
-175xxx KMs (108,xxx miles)
-bilstein & H&R suspension
-rear tint
-Sclass grille
-Eclass blinking + heated contour mirrors
-crystal clear euro headlamps
-replica monobloc rims + new tires
-VERY good condition exterior paint, like new condition
-leather interior, mint condition
-babied since I purchased
-500km/tank in city 700km+ on highway
-VERY attractive clean car
-oil change every 5000kms
-tranny flush every 30,000kms
-new rad + waterpump under 15,000kms ago
-80% thread on rubber
The bad:
-oil leak. drips on the ground otherwise nothing major.
-It drove flawless last time it was on the road, passed aircare with almost 0 emissions. Then I stored it for a year and now it has a bit of a rough idle at times and would drop RPM and occasionally stall on cold start.
not sure if it's the maf or fuel pump that's gone during storage. Drives well still, just at idle it stutters.
-rims have peeling clear coat on the lip
-ac needs a recharge
I am leaving vancouver soon so dont have the time to fix it myself. If you're good with cars this would be an awesome gas saving luxury sedan after a bit of work.
Will give you stock steelies as well for winter set. I'll be honest with anyone interested. I dont like being scammed buying things so I bring the same integrity as a seller. No surprises. GREAT daily driver one the idle issue is fixed.
$3000 Firm. Similiar cars in the area selling for 4-6k with more mileage and not nearly as attractive. I've taken into account of the issues and their costs to fix in the price therefore the lower price than the rest, so please dont come and the offer $2500 saying to cover the cost of the repairs. I can easily mark it at $5000 for you guys to bargain. Thanks.
