Feeler FS: 2000 CLK430 Convertible 56K miles
I am interested in selling my 2000 CLK430 Convertible and looking to move on to something else. Have had the car for 5 yrs and it is maintained well. Just came off a major service that included replacing a slight leak in the valve cover gaskets, brake fluid flush, oil change, and a ball joint. Basically everything they said needed attention was fixed. Car is garage kept and I just don't drive it much.
I know it is a bad time of year to sell a convertible and may re-list in spring. I tried at one time to price per KBB and had no takers. This time will not list a price and see what people may offer. Also would be curious to know what you think fair market price is for this car? Won't see many in this condition and mileage.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Tough to tell, depending on your area.
In the SF area, there are 2002 CLK55 cabs going for $14k...so keep that in mind as a comparable - and that's for an area that's currently 65+ degrees during the day.

I just wrote off the sister vehicle last October. God how I miss that car. If it helps any ours was in similar condition with Chrome AMG wheels and similar mileage. The insurance company gace me $18,500 for the write off price.
I wouldn't pay that because I've seen them here in Canada for a lot less, closer to $15000.
After owning about 65 autos in my life no other vehicle put such a smile on my face every time I drove it.
Good luck on your sale.

I have seen the prices on a few clk55's and they are low so yes tough to sell when clk55's are going really cheap. I would probably sell for $12K but I think that is a tough sell. Anything less would just keep it. Will test the waters in April or so.
